Hello all,
I'm trying to use Roboguide to create "Features" (cad-to-path) for cutting parts. I keep running into the same problem: Roboguide creates programs that drive the robot's axis 6 into the limit.
My robot EOAT is aligned directly away from the wrist, so A6 never even needs to turn. For some reason the robot controller still wants to turn the A6 around to reach the linear points. Tool is taught with all values except Z set to 0 so turning it should not make any difference by any math.
I've tried to use (from Roboguide "Feature") both the "fixed tool" and "rotate tool" options, with usually no difference.
Re-teaching every point by hand would be very hard as most of these Features have hundreds and hundreds of points.
-Is there an option in Roboguide that I've missed?
-Is there a tool or other easy way to set J6 to zero for every point in the program?
Any tips from more experienced Roboguide users much appreciated.
Cheers,
Petri
