When you say random, do you mean random losing rev counter on one joint or random losing any rev counter?
random losing any rev counter
HI...
I had the same problem 6 months ago....
I have a cable problem ... Cable of 5 axe.
I replaced it and the problem disappeared...
I needed 4 hours to replace it...
PD: In my case, if a setting accset in a low value. The problem improved.
good luck..
It sure can be the cabling.
Are there any other alarms preceding the lost rev. counters?
Does the robot just stop during production and says "update rev. counters", or does it spontaneously reboot itself and comes back saying "rev. counters lost"?
A faulty 24v Power supply can give u a lost Connection with the axis computer, producing a spontaneous reboot and lost rev. counters as a result.
Please post the alarm log.
Check the conection of the cable SMB in the board axes computer this in the port measurement 1 that is which this configured to 6 axes and the port measurement 2 is only for a external axes.
