    Hello Everyone,

I'm facing following event routine as running background which I don't want. And I'm trying to delete that event routine but it showing "Write Protected". And In Task it showing "Main as Normal" and Other Routine as "Semi-static" and I really don't want that routine but I can't delete it in "Task Modules" because its write protected. So, Tell me how to get rid of that Event Routine or change it normal rather semi-static. And How can I delete write protected routines??? :help: :help: :hmmm:

OK, will be necessary to make changes in both files SYS and BACKINFO.

    Look for the topic: CAB_TASK_MODULES:

    Will appear all tasks declared.

    Example:

    ;**********************************************************************
    #
    CAB_TASK_MODULES:

-File "ram1disk:TESTE.PRG" -ModName "TESTE" -Task "T_IMA"

-File "ram1disk:base_mt.sys" -ModName "BASE_MT" -Task "SILUE"

-File "ram1disk:SILUETA.PRG" -ModName "SILUETA" -Task "SILUE"

-File "ram1disk:base_mt.sys" -ModName "BASE_MT" -Task "TRANSP"

-File "ram1disk:R_TRANSP.PRG" -ModName "R_TRANSP" -Task "TRANSP"
    ;**********************************************************************

Delete one of the lines that possesses the task you want to delete.

For this example i will use the task R_TRANSP.

    Example:

-File "ram1disk:R_TRANSP.PRG" -ModName "R_TRANSP" -Task "TRANSP"

    Now, go to the BACKINFO.

    Example:

    ;******************************************************************

    SYSMOD/BASE_MT.sys @ ram1disk:base_mt.sys

    >>EOF:
    ;***********************************************************

    Delete lines in red color.

And Finally you must delete the task folder.

    RAPID-> TASK1
    TASK2
    TASK3

    That it.

I had a similiar problem where I accidently created a new Task Module (S4 Controller) and couldnt delete it. This topic brought me to the idea to reload the SYS parameter from a disc what in the end solved my problem.
