I am repurposing an old ABB weld cell for a customer of mine. I had no idea how much trouble getting the positioner working would be. It appears there is only one person at ABB that can help with this unit that Tommy S originally programmed in 1994-95 and they are not available. Does anyone know and have time to guide me through using a meter to set up the positioner? Any one have a reference manual with the information I can read myself ?? MODULE IRBP315C(SYSMODULE,NOSTEPIN)****The positioner rotates manually, I have calibrated to within .12/179.85 of the mechanical stop and have verified mun!pos1 input is high when in place and low when not.
Any help would be greatly welcomed.
Thanks

The (VERY) old 315C's used encoders didn't they, as opposed to resolvers, if I remember correctly...
Attached is the instruction to set the interchange torque on S4/S4C.

Thank you. On my way in to try out what I can. When I tried to run the SetupIndex program installed I got an error stating that I could not PP because parameters exist? In looking through the backups it appears that /dummy has been inserted in the proc as well as (/switch dummy). Still working on getting this one behind me.
