Which Robot and controller ?
The general process if you wish to verify the TCP is to point the Robot gripper/torch to a pointer. Then in Cartesian/XYZ Coordinate mode move the RBT (rotation aling XYZ) keys. If the TCP is intact, the Robot should keep pointing the pointer and just the orientation of the robot will change.
Incase you wish to set the TCP, Go to Robot-->Tool--->Utility--->Calibrate and teach 5 points TC1 to TC5 OR you can also directly enter XYZ values if known.

What do you mean with "check" ?
Check if the x,y,.... are correct ?
Check if the load is fine ?
