I have been working with the LBR iiwa r7 800 for a while now. I have a java application that is almost ready for our customers, but it is missing one critical feature. I have talked to Kuka's LBR support group about this and haven't received a helpful answer. Hopefully, someone else has already figured this out...
In my program, I want the users to be able to teach robot positions by pressing the UserButton on the pneumatic flange (instead of the pendant). I can record the arm's position, redundancy parameters, and build a frame, but I haven't been able to push all of that information to the RoboticsAPI.data.xml file... The TeachInfo parameters (tool, redundancy, etc) aren't saved. Because these aren't saved, the frame cannot be used in my program.
Has anyone else had luck with saving frames to the data file? I'm at my wit's end here, starting to think I need to save frames externally on a separate PC. it's crazy, but kuka hasn't been able to provide a better approach...
