I have this wiring diagram for the IC693MDL645E digital input module. I'm not sure I have this right but it looks like i need to hook up power to the 1 and 16 terminals, am i correct?

I have this wiring diagram for the IC693MDL645E digital input module. I'm not sure I have this right but it looks like i need to hook up power to the 1 and 16 terminals, am i correct?
The 2 images with +/- are showing how the positive and negative logic circuits are wired to the terminals. Terminal 1 is the Common for the input module. You will connect either 24VDC or 0VDC to this terminal depending on whether you are using positive or negative logic in your design. Let's assume you are using positive logic (the solid line diagram) and you connect 0VDC (-) to Terminal 1, then you would connect 24VDC to your switches, pushbuttons, etc. so they will provide 24VDC to terminals 2 thru 17 to turn those inputs ON.
Also, I have found that Fanuc robots do not support all of the 90-30 modules. You may find that you need an input module that is specifically positive or negative logic, and not the 645 that supports either. I had one module that the robot did not recognize.
