Hi,
I want to leverage the KUKA RSI to set up a test bed for some perception experiments we are doing. However, while I can ping my development machine from the KUKA controller, I am unable to ping or connect to the KUKA KRC2 from my machine.
Is there some switch or setting I have to enable to allow this? Or is it a firewall configuration issue?

Hi,
Still awaiting an answer on this.

What network hardware configuration do you have on your KRC2?
You have to keep in mind that while the Windows half of the KRC's brain "owns" the motherboard Ethernet port, RSI runs in the VxWorks half of the KRC's brain, as part of KSS. Unless you have added the Realtime Ethernet card, RSI will only be able to function (somewhat unreliably) by using the KUKA-Router program to do a port-level re-direct.

I am using the Realtime Ethernet card. Can you provide a detailed process of getting the RSI to work?

Varies depending on your KSS version, and what version of RSI-XML you have. Should be section 4.3 of the manual.
