I have a Fanuc R30iA 200iC series robot and I am struggling with memory issues. It has already been upgraded to the most storage space, but we are in need of more. The files we are trying to load far exceed the internal memory, so we need a work-around. Is there a way to use a USB and have a file pipe system in order to read/write continuously as a program runs? This way, only some of the data needs to be loaded into memory at one time and then deleted after read. Either this or perhaps use socket messaging with TCP or FTP to accomplish the same thing?
I am new to KAREL, so I apologize if I am incorrect in my assumptions.
Please let me know if you have worked with file pipes (or any other helpful methods) for this memory issue.
Thanks!
