Hello!
In the project I am working on, I want to set an output high, when the robot waits for an input for too long. Since I am going to use this functionality in many places, I have written a function for this purpose. The function takes two signals (boolean references) as input. The first is the input that the robot will be waiting for. The second is the output that will be set, if the robot has to wait for more than a few seconds.
Before I had this function, a message saying something like "WAIT FOR IN_GRIPPER_OPEN" would be shown on the teach pendant when the robot was waiting. Now, this message will be the same, no matter which signal I am waiting for. It is something like "WAIT FOR INPUT_SIGNAL", because the signal is called "INPUT_SIGNAL" inside my function. This is not so good, since it makes it harder for the operator to see what is going on.
So now my question is: Is there a way to replace or modify the message that is shown when the robot is waiting for a signal?
Thanks in advance!
