I have numerous Fanuc RJ3 robots and the $MOR_GRP[n].$ROB_MOVE variables does not seem to be present.
When was this first implemented?
Thanks.

At least according to the environment files, $ROB_MOVE seems to have been introduced in V7.40.
Perhaps $FILTER_EMPT (from V6.40) could be an alternative?
(from here actually).
I'll check that out. Might do the trick for what I need.
Basically I want to turn on an output when robot is idle waiting on a machine more than 2 minutes.

Looks like it might work. Variable is false while moving

Well the parameter exists. But when I try to read it from program, I get intp-254 parameter not found.
Any ideas?

I hate to ask the obvious, but did you use the correct name?
The following works for me in Roboguide (r30ia, v770, material handling):
IF ($MOR_GRP[1].$FILTER_EMPT=1),R[1]=(0) ;
I was trying to read it as
R[190]=$mor_GRP[1].$filter.empt I corrected that with if statement as you wrote.
This is on handling tool V6.3. The software does not appear to have BG logic menus. I hope a run command with a loop will still work.
