Axis 5 coming up with error on a 6400 S4C robot. How do I adjust supervision level. Slowed robot down but still happening. Even occurs during an air move occasionally.
Robot has a pneumatic welding gun mounted.

Before you change your motion supervision, I recommend you check your tool definition, and see if the tool is defined to have an accurate weight and center of gravity(COG).
Considering that you're carrying a huge welding gun, an incorrect load definition could be the cause.

I've compared the two robots tool data and the robot with the the axis 5 error has the mass set at 150 compared to 115 with the other. Welding guns are identical. The problem also is caused with the gun sticking slightly on one or two welds.Where can I find supervision to adjust?

If both tools are the same I would update the tooldata first before doing anything else. From there check the tool on the moves and make sure the correct tool is loaded. i.e. if the move doesn't have a tool assigned to it the robot will use the wrong tooldata and in turn wrong loaddata. If all of that is good, you can use the tune motionsup command before the moves that are giving you trouble. Below is the ABB developers reference to the motionsup command.

Thank you Bob, I will give that a try.
