Yes, this is possible for abb also, the name of this option is World Zone but if you dont have options in your robot you can not use it
-
hi!! eureka thanks for your fastest answer. Yes this is the option, but the robot don´t have that opcion. Is a IRB 2400 with controller IRC5. Do you know any way to install this opcion to the robot. thanks
-
hmm If you don't have option, unfortunately you have to buy this options from your local agency of ABB. Is there also another method to do this in ABB but its not the correct and orginal way. If you have multitasking option in your robot you can check the position of robot in another task and set digital output signal.

thanks again eureka, but don´t have that opcion. i´m trying to compare a position saved in datatype "robtarget" with the current position of robot, if is correct send a signal, is possible?

yes you can do it but If you don't have multitasking, you need to write these compare codes to the main task and you can not check all the time the position.. For example :
:control lines
movej
movej
movejLets say that you check the position of robot on the "control lines". You can understand the position of robot and send signal. But after this line you will go to movej and then you will never have chance to check position of the robot until control lines.
If this method works for you, It's easy to make it i can explain

Are you talking about a Home position(s)? Or something separate?
