Hi slamcity,
In start of programming robots you need if you can to get manual courses of beginner programming. If cannot get it, then in first you need learn :
- mastering of robot;
- create tool with 3 and 6 points;
- learn how to do backup and upload( AOA, IMAGE);
- syntax of TP programs ( with learning I/O, group, registers, position registers, flags) (cycles with counter "for", condition "if", labels "LBL" "JMP LBL"), call marcos, create background logic, add some function (if it welding then arc schedules, touch sensing, wave);
- UI signals for remote control of robot;
- system variables;
- on all way of learning you need learn if free time electrical connections and configuration some blocks(I/O).it is first what need to know for working with robots.
For understanding group inputs and outputs you need practice in LAD programming, register also LAD or primitive programing language just like pascal. Maybe you need starting from beginning. It save your time and is more progressive in learning.
