I have a 100i robot/RJ3 controlled that is being repurposed into a new cell. Previously the system was hooked up to a PowerWave 450 to provide power for the MIG welder it is running. I am attempting (on very short notice) to repurpose this system into a new cell. I know that once hooked up to a PowerWave 455 I need to add the DeviceNet I/O card into the amplifier to run the 455. With the card in place I can not get the robot to so much as feed wire or recognize that the card is in place. I have attempted to get it to automatically recognize the card, with no luck. I have also attempted to manually enter the card into the digital I/O configuration (rack:90, slot:1) and have had no luck. Am I missing a step in the process to get the robot to recognize the card/455????????? Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thank you in advance.
