With my ABB errors like this occur when the movement between starting point and end point would require the turning of at least one axis for more than one quadrant. There is a command like "SingArea /Wrist;" or so (currently writing from home, so I don't have the manual with me) that shoult prevent this.
Another solution might be the adding of positions(s) in between.kind regards,

Does this happen when you pause a robot in the middle of its operation, or does it happen when you call one routine and then another routine? There are multiple situations that could cause this behavior.

You can turn off the ConfL /Off; and the ConfJ /Off; to ignore joint configurations. Useful for vision when you don't know where the next position will be. Just be careful to not wind up the joints and to turn it back on.

usually confl off solve the problem, but it has to be used paying attention.
Another solution is to jog the robot to the position and then retouch the point. Jogging function do not take care of the axis configuration. -
Try using several robtargets in the middle of path. This may be cause by too large movement of some axis during linear movement.
