Hi,
I'm new to this forum so please bear with me if I ask anything too stupid
I've installed and programmed Kawasaki and Mitsubishi robots before so I'm not a complete newbie to the subject, but I do have a little dilemma right now. I've just acquired a Fanuc ArcMate 120 with RJ2 controller and teach pendant. It was last in use about 12 years ago and was mothballed after a few weeks of use, so I'm pretty sure it was working when it went out of service.
I've no use for it and would like to just clean it up, verify it's working ok, and sell it.
A simple question or two before I have to apply power and do what I have to do as efficiently as possible....
1) I assume it will still have it's application program loaded. I would like to reset it to a 'default' state without losing any axes calibration. Is there a quick and easy way to do this?
2) It's not had power applied for 12 years, any advice on things to check before I apply power? Any maintenance that should be done?
3) Does it have any value?! It's clean and tidy with very little use.
Thanks in advance for any help/advice.
