Hello,
After replacing RJ3 controller CPU and successful Image restore, no TP programs were shown in program list.
As far as I know Image Backup includes also application files. Is it true? If yes, what could I have done wrong?
Thank you

Image BackUp is saving all memory sectors not files just like back up .
I just returned from Fanuc training (up in MI, USA) last week. I asked this question about image backup. My instructor stated that the image backup includes all the files contained in the File backup process and additional system software files. Therefore, I would expect that the TP programs would be available after restoring from an image backup. Perhaps he was mistaken.
Check around in some of the file locations.. MD: FR: RD: I would venture a guess that the actual file is there and just not loaded into operating memory. Find it, then press the F# for LOAD. Just because its not on the [select] list of programs does not mean it is gone. Also, make sure your not in 'Quick Menu' (under the FCTN key) and when you press [select] you should then be able to press F1 for 'type' and select to show TP files.
Hope this helps -Eric
I whant say when u do image backup u saving memory sector(with all files in them). If your TP program was bre on other dir(mc:,...) and deleted after them that image restore not help u.
Chipprogr have sens, see your program in some dir.
As a rule of thumb, I always do a backup all before an image backup just in case.
