I'm trying to put my kuka krc4 on my small intranet and am having a a heck of a time getting WorkVisual to see the robot. The krc4 is behind a linux firewall router (for a little extra security), and Wireshark tells me ports 49001,49002,49003,49004,49006,49010 open are being used by WV to communicate with the box so those have been kept open to the LAN.
When I open WV and "Browse for project" with the IP of my krc4, it times out and says it can not find it. I then tried putting kcr4 on a DMZ of the firewall (meaning ALL ports are exposed to LAN) and WV still refuses to find the box at its IP.
I've confirmed that the linux router is working correctly; plugged in a laptop with a simple http server at port 80 and this can be seen via other networked computers over the LAN.
I assumed WV allows addressing robots that it isn't directly connected to except through a LAN but am I wrong? I feel like it should be much simpler than it is turning out to be!
Thanks for the thoughts!
