I have virtual external axis (see https://www.robot-forum.com/robotforum/kuk…um/virtual-axe/) on my KR16-2. This axis is configured as a endless and work fine, but now I found new challenge.
My external axis is a rotating ring, which turns only in one direction. If I make a trajectory from panel using TouchUp, it is defined absolutely. So if I want to repeat this trajectory cyclically, I have to return with this ring to zero position before every cycle. It is possibly dangerous, because there will be a material on this ring, which can twist into the ring when the ring rotate reverse. And it take a time also.
It there any possibility to change position of one axis by SW without movement?
