The controller faults when I attempt to create a new move instruction using the Motion Command menu selection (in-line form).
The error is TPBASIS 22 "Point <name> could not be created."
Edit: Also get KSS01372 "Process active."
I've tried PTP and LIN.
Tried using default name P1 instead of my own variable name.
Also rebooted controller.
Still can't create the point.
Tried declaring the E6POS and FDAT structures for the new point in the .dat file.
This time, when I specified a LIN move in the in-line form and pressed Command OK, the controller touched up the point, but did not add the move instruction to the src file. No error message; just no move instruction.
The controller acts as though it is unable to write to the src file.
Context:
KRC 4, KSS v8.2
T1 mode.
Logged in as Expert.
The Submit interpreter is running.
src file is selected.
Execute this code until "programed path is reached" message comes up on pendant:
GLOBAL INTERRUPT DECL 3 WHEN $STOPMESS==TRUE DO IR_STOPM ( )
INTERRUPT ON 3
BAS (#INITMOV,0 )
WAIT SEC 0.25
BAS(#TOOL, 1)
BAS(#BASE, 4)
posPrep = $POS_ACT
PTP posPrep <-- Move to current position. This satisfies rule that first move must be PTP.
WAIT SEC 0.25
Now attempt to create motion instruction using in-line form.
Called Kuka tech support. No help.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
