Question: Remark Symbol

    I am a relatively new at working with Fanuc Robots (LR Mate 200iC). When I went to remark a line I was expecting to see an exclamation mark to start the line. Instead, forward slashes were displayed (//). Did I do something wrong or are // a valid remark line designation? Thanks

    It is all right.
    A remarked line start with a "//" and you can unmark whenever you want.
    A comment line star with a "!"

    The first one is an instruction that has been disable (remarked)
    The second one is a comment instruction.
