It is very difficult to achieve accurate TCP due to eye parallax errors. It becomes even more difficult if you re-master the Robot, this will introduce eye parallax error on each joint.

Thanks Shellmer for response,
I am sure the calibration is not changed.
Anyways i have calibrated the robot for accurate payload and now the system is running, let me observe it for a few more days.
Anyways this is very interesting topic to discuss.

I could further figured out the Payload was not accurately calculated and robot was on cycletime priority.
Will this cause the above mentioned issue?

Hi Friends,
Want to share interesting experience.
We installed the Robot M10iD for palletizing, the motion at particular points was near singularity but the cycle always ran OK and had no singularity error.
This robot has performed more than 10,000 Cycles and suddenly one day it got and singularity alarm. Though there was no change in the program.
I am puzzled, about what must have caused the singularity error in the running cycle.
Can anyone put some light on possible causes?
Regards
Sachin

Hi Friends,
I have M10iD Robot with RJ3iB controller. I want to pass on the position coordinates from PC to Rj3iB Controller.
Can anyone help me out like which is the easiest and reliable way of doing this?

Hi Friends,
I have a small query.
What is the difference between R3iA mate and R3iA mate plus controllers.

Hi Friends,
Does any Robot has backlash compensation as it is available in CNC controllers?Regards
Sachin -
Thanks SkyeFire,
That means Teach pendant is master and Robot controller will act as slave.
Please correct me if i have misunderstood.Regards
Sachin -
Dear Friends,
I had one query, In general robots like kuka, fanuc, abb etc, does the teach pendant has its independent CPU. If yes, then master is robot controller or teach pendant.
Your thoughts/suggestion are highly appreciable.Regards
Sachin -
Thanks a lot 'SkyeFire' ,
I think kuka, kawasaki and abb had this features, Can any one update on the remaining brands?
Thanks in advance for info.Regards

Dear Friends,
I am working on teach pendant development for a robot. I had a requirement that one teach pendant has to be used for multiple robots and ones robot is programmed then same teach pendant can be disconnected and used for other robot.
I had a query,
1. Is it possible to run the robot without teach pendant?
2. Is this a standard feature with all the robot manufacturers teach pendant?

Dear Friends,
I just want to know if there is any relation between the speed and acceleration in the robot.
For example if speed is 100mm/sec and accln is 200mm/sec2, if speed is increase to 1000mm/sec then whether accln is still 200mm/sec2 or 2000mm/sec2?
As most of the time we only mention speed of robot.
Regards

I think it should be possible, i have done it long back. You need to play around Tool rpm, cutting speed, plunging speed and cutting direction.

Dear Friends,
It seems Trio Motion has also came up with Robotic Controller.
Is anyone having any experience with it?Regards

Fennex,
If you see the motor driver circuit is just below caps and caps are made of plastic material, emf generated during welding may directly interfere with driver circuit. There are many ways to avoid this like you can have metal cap or you can have conductive paint on the cap or you can have aluminum foil(it was readily available with us).
You are right it is for shielding.Regards
Sachin -
Hi Fennex,
I have done MIG welding with UR5 long back.
You need to take following care.
1. Make sure gun wire should be routed away from the robot joints.
2. Robot Joints are covered with plastic caps, you need to cover it with aluminum foil of make the caps conductive. This is very important as in UR Drive is mounted on motor itself.
3. Isolate the gun from end flange and also the base from pedestal by Bakelite.
All this will help you to reduce the EMI interference. All the Best.

Hi Friends,
Are Chinese Robots becoming more popular around the world?
Can any one name some good Robotic Brands/Companies in China?
Regards
Sachin -
Is brake requirement mentioned in any standards?
-
Dear Friends,
For industrial environment are brake motors mandatory for the Robot.
If we have Motors without brakes in robot what are the implications?Regards
Sachin -
Dear Friends,
Has anyone even heard of RoboForth and share the experience on the same.
This language is for research and development or for industrial purpose?
Will be very happy to hear from You.Regards
