Hi all,
I will just post that I just had the error described in the original post. I have an CRX 10iA. The robot would not power on and the display stuck on connecting for more than 20 minutes. No light in the LED-indicator on the arm.
Tried all the fuses, checked all the cables, tried another TP, unplugged everything but the TP and the power. NOTHING.
Then I disconnected the TP and the cable - and the robot powered on. So my problem was with the cable to the TP.

For everybody else with the same issue, we ordered an E-stop Unit from FANUC for around 400 Euros and received after a couple of days.
The swap took 10 minutes and all errors disappeared.
The manual suggested swapping the E-stop Unit for some of the errors, but it could not be deducted if all of the errors had a connection to this. Fortunately, they did. Thanks to C_hiney.

Hi everybody,
I used a wood wedge and gave the cover a proper blow from a tilted angle and it flew right off.
Remember to lay some cardboard or similar under. Otherwise, the cover will receive some damage.Thank you for your answers.

Probably just the gasket sticking. Wiggle and work it loose or gently pry it off.
Yeah, FANUC recognized the issue. They recommend using a wedge of plastic or wood. Do you have any tips or trick to get it off without damage?

Hi pdl,
The robot is a loaner through FANUC for a current project - that we probably will buy. Therefore, the batteries are send through FANUC and covered by FANUC.
The batteries for the CRX are not like the 'regular' industrial robots from FANUC. It is two AA batteries soldered together with a connection - and these are not regular available. At least, not in my part of Europe.Do you have any tricks on getting the cover off? FANUC replied, that I should try with a wedge made of plastic or wood. They do recognize, that the cover can get quite stuck to the gasket.

Thank you for your reply, C_hiney.
Unfortunately, I do not have an extra E-stop unit to replace and test. I will have a go at removing the unit and check the contactors behind it. I will return with and an update. -
Hi,
Has anybody ever gotten to the point of changing the batteries for keeping the mastering on the CRX-series? I have a robot that gives me the BLAL-alarm and batteries are on their way.
According to the manual, you have to remove the six bolts from the socket and then remove the cover. But the cover is stuck to robot as if it has been casted in one piece.
Does anyone have experience with removing this cover without damage?

Hi everyone
I have got an LR mate 200iC with a R-30iA Mate Controller, which has been unused for a couple of months.
Now when I boot up, I get a series of alarms. I am now seeking your experience. I know that a couple of the alarms are related to the E-stop circuit on the robot.
But could the OHAL-alarms also be related to this in somehow? The robot was not stored in any strained position. For information, someone has been inside the controller and disconnected the teach pendant cable and reattached it again on a seperately occasion.
Kind regards,
Gynther
