You are right, can you recommend how I can read the actual robot position? I have a program where I read state of robot motor, program error etc. but what is the best way to log actual position XYZOAT ?

Yes exactly. I have allocated IO signals in robot controller. Input bits 1-256 and outputs bits 1001-1256. I want to read and write those bits from PLC program.

Thank you, I have another question. If I want to read consistent data of length 32 bytes through function DPRD_DAT in TIA. The LADDR input will by reference of my 32 bytes IO module (see attached doc)? I am planning to use DPWR_DAT function for writing data. Or is there a better way to read/write data from the controller?

I can't see I/O addresses in TIA portal. It is possible that I installed wrong GDS file of ABSPRT-20131114 or is there any other issue why addresses are not there ?
