Result of geometric operator is always data type of the last operand. So by adding $NULLFRAME as last operand, you strip S&T and E1-E6
Correct, what I want is to strip S&T but NOT E1-E6.
as what are activeBase and point4 declared?depends on that the end result can be different.
Sorry I forgot to give the datatypes: activeBase is a FRAME and point4 is a E6POS. I actually found on another post that you can use "Menu -> Configuration -> Variable -> Single" to evaluate the geometric operator, so I did a bunch of checking and came to the same conclusion through good 'ol guess'n check. Thus:
activeBase:point4:$NULLFRAME = FRAME (XYZABC)
activeBase:point4 = E6POS
So what I'd love to do is something like this (because I would preserve all the values, but set S&T to zero:
activeBase:point4:{E6POS: S 0, T 0}
Obviously this doesn't work.
