Hello,
I've heard that there is something like KAWASAKI life-Time calculation sheet. I've not found in Internet and also distributor doesn't heard about it. Doens anybody used it?

Hello
I'm new to Kawasaki robots and just discover communication with TELNET. I haven't found any information in Kawasaki documentation and wonder if it's a possibility to configure FTP, or trigger file saving to FTP by TELNET? -
Hey
I'm looking for a way to make a backup of Kuka IIWA that contains frames coordinates. I have a project where if I lose them It would be a disaster
By the Sunrise, I have tried to make it by file-> export -> archive, but then when I try to import that again I don't see in Sunrise application data (with frames). In manual there is something about Backup Manager program, but I don't have it. Can I download this tool from somewhere? Is there an easier way to do that? Thank you for your responses, I don't have a lot experience with IIWA

Hey!
I'm struggling with configuration new KRC4 Kuka robot - there is problem with Profisafe address.I've prepared Siemens PLC project and Kuka project in Work Visual - safety addresses are the same (10), but I still get errors on teachpendant about it. On online PLC there is no error on network. I've tried to change this addresses but It doesn't help.
Standard DI/DO works fine, but there is problem with Safety. Any idea?

Hey,
I'm mapping IO signals in my fanuc robot.
There is communication between PLC and robot via EthernetIP.
I've configured controller, everything woks. Now I have another problem - how to map UOP signals ( e.g. Fault reset, Start) to Ethernet IP signals?
Now my DI Ethernet IP signals starts from DI89. Should I in background program insert line e.g. UI[1] = DI[89]?
Or how to do it correctly? -

Hello ,
I'm very new in fanuc robot's and need help.
I'am trying to connect Siemens s7-1500 PLC with FANUC robot via ethernet gateway (MOXA 5103). It should convert profinet from PLC to fanuc ethernet IP. Robot is Ethernet IP scanner.
The problem is that communication beetwen gateway and fanuc (ethernet ip) doesn't work. Profinet looks ok.
Steps I made:1. Configured gateway
2. Added gsdml file to my PLC project
3. Setup robot host comm (by TP)
4. Configured robot Ethernet IP settings (by TP)At gateway led for profinet lights, but for Ethernet IP is off ( No data exchange).
I've tried to trigger outputs in robot, but i don't see change in moxa addresses in PLC IO.

Hello
I have an industrial installation where KRC4 cooperates with IIWA R820. Every robot has a Profinet (and Profisafe) option. Profisafe is a safety interaface here.
I want to create PLC Safety project and map safety IO's. I know how to do it with KRC4 - using "KST_SafeOperation" manual I see on page 125 that there are 2 bytes, and every bit's has meaning (for example some bits should be "always true"). But I haven't found any documentation of Profinet for IIWA, and don't know how it looks here
Im doing Profinet mapping for iiwa also in WV, so maybe it's the same? I mean that as on KRC4, first bit on first byte (Robot input, PLC output) is reserved and should be always true? -
Thank you panicmode and AndrewWang!
Stupid mistake, i forget to install Profinet option...
If somebody will have similar problem (doing it for first time) you have to:
- install option from Kuka documentation (included on CD) - (from workbench) -> Help -> Install New Software -> Add
- check the box next to Kuka Sunrise Profinet M/S (Stationsetup -> Software)
- and then change profisafe address on Configuration tab.Remember to upload configuration to controller.

Hello,
i need help .
Does anybody know how to set Profisafe address in iiwa? I know how to change it in KRC4, but i can't found this option in Sunrise.Workbench.
When i try do it by Work Visual (entering here by ioconfiguration.wvs from workbench) and clicking on SafetyControl i get error: You have to add least one kinematic machine to the controller before opening the safety configuration! I also havent found any informations in documentation.
Please, help... -
Hello,
Im wondering how to make a screenshots on my Kuka KRC2 like here: https://https://www.robot-forum.com/robotforum/kuk…1598/#msg131598 . I have external keybord, tried to just press PrintScrn button, but haven't found Paint on my Windows 95 version.
Is it other way? -
Exactly... my mistake. I've changed declaration from iosys.ini to bytes. Everything works!

Hey
I've configured a connection between Kuka KRC2 and PLC (Vipa CPU315 PN - alternative to s7-300, also using step7) via Profibus. Kuka - slave, PLC - master. There is two bytes for inputs and two for outputs.
I've mapped IO in IOSYS.ini and configured pfbms.drv. When I set up outputs from PLC everything looks good - I can see changes on the Kuka input monitor. The problem is that when I set up mapped outputs FROM Kuka (on output monitor), it looks like exactly this outputs -only for Profibus mapped - are blocked. I've tried do it manually and by running program.
When im changing mapping (for example from offset 20 to 30) it behaves the same - new mapped Kuka OUTPUTS (241-256) are blocked and this old (161-176) i can simply set.
In Message box there is "Error on writing, driver: CP561DRV".
Once i've had similar problem with DeviceNet - my mapping was coinciding with Kuka System bits, but in this case im sure It's not this case.
Im attaching my configuration files.

Hello.
I'm trying to connect Vipa CPU315 PN as a Master with Kuka krc2 as a slave by PROFIBUS. I have there a card CP 5614.
I'm struggling with Kuka config and every time i see error mentioned in subject. It's also my first time with profibus, so please be patientThe steps I made:
- put profibus connector to slot pb2 and switched terminator to "on" there ( i have only this two devices).
- configured IOSYS.ini[DRIVERS]
PBMASL = 11, pbmsInit, pfbmsdrv.oand mapped IO as a:
[PBMASL]
INW30 = 127,0,x2
OUTW30 = 127,0,x2- then went to pfbm.ini and configured
[CP_5613/14]

Maybe in master section FIRMWARE_PATH ( im using drivers/FW_5613.bin) should be newer version for card 5614 ( i've checked it and there isn't any other in Kuka)?
And one more question - is it necessary to set up the transmission rate ( i suppose that it should be the same as i set in VIPA - 1,5mbs).PS Profibus Driver doesn't work (see attach)[/img] - when I make IO Reconfigure for one moment its turning on but next fails...
-
profibus card for KRC2 has two independent ports, one is master, one is slave. you can use one or both.Maybe it's a stupid question but i haven't found the answer: port PB1 is a Master (as you can see in the attachment from manual)and PB2 is a Slave, so: if Kuka is a slave i should just connect it with master (s7 300) via PB2 or it means that this port is FOR Slave, so it would required Kuka configurate as a Master?

Ok, I've got it.
KVGA is ok, but it's a backlight problem. Firstly i've checked connection from x805 to x19 (kcp) and KCP cable - all it's correct.
But when i use flashlight to illuminate Teach Pendant i can see a very faint display. Is it possible to repait it with my own hands, or i have to send it to Kuka service?

Hello,
I have a problem with my teach pendant in Kuka KRC2.
I'm using external monitor connected via VGA slot, for make my work a little more comfortable.
The problem is that since yesterday teachpendant panel doesn't display anything - button on it works, i can move robot, do everything i want seeing everything at monitor, but teach pendant doesn't display anything.
I worked on X801 slot and made jumpers (for safety circuit) as it is in Kuka manual. Is it possible that there is a reason? Or maybe i could burn something? Where can be a reason?I've checked KCP plug and looks ok. In Windows display properties i have "both" display option.

Hello everybody,
Im still struggling with my KukaI've read lots of topics in this forum but i haven't found answer for my problem.
I'm configuring device net connection via MFC (x801) with Baluff module ( this one: https://www.balluff.com/local/pl/produ…ariant/PV152319 ). There is V 4.1.7 SPO3 soft version.I uncommented driver in Iosys.ini and set up connection in devnet.ini. I try to map my IO in iosys, but every time when i uncomment my IO configuration there is configuration error. (Of course every changing i save by IO Reconfiguration). I've use this syntax (Form 1) because of dndrv version of driver ( I saw topics with configuration for dn2drv where is also macid to set).
Maybe there is something with offset over all peripheral devices? My module is the only slave i have and has macid 8. What offset should I set?I've used also telnet to diagnose (with command dnWho) and i think that Kuka see my module.
I've checked also hardware side and everything looks ok. I attach also log file.
PS When i comment my mapping only massage that appears it "Drives contactor off".
