Why not just activate good project again?
Do you have good archive?
Thanks for your help --
I have just tried to change the active project now, I changed it to both the base and initial projects that were on there, but neither of them solves the issue (I have also tried cold reboot with reload files, not sure if this would help but tried anyway).
When I attempt to restore RDC data from the backup, the checkboxes have padlocks and don't seem to be press-able (see attached photo).
Restoring from the archive (not the backup) doesn't solve the issue and it remains after a reboot. I think the issue therefore might be with the RDC data? Do you know if there is a way to fix that, i.e. will Kuka be able to send me configuration files/RDC data that I can set up on the device, without a Kuka engineer having to come out? I have emailed their support about the situation and am waiting on a response.
The robot name and serial number have both also been set to the value "0" -- I realised this yesterday after I made this post. This seems to indicate something has really messed up.
As the picture shown, there are 2 main errors, one is related to RDC access and the other is KEB field bus. if everything is as what you describled, firstly you have to check the cabling for the connection from CIB to micro-RDC and perhaps you can reconnect the cablings(Be aware of static).Regards of X44 KEB error, you can check if your X55 connector(if modules under X44-KEB file bus provided by KUKA) is connected. May these information be helpful.Kind Regards
Andrew
I am not able to and am not really comfortable with opening up the cabinet without my supervisor here -- he's not been in the past couple of days (but will be later on), so I won't be able to try this yet. I don't think that anything has physically changed with the cabling, we haven't moved the robot or set-up around since I deployed from WorkVisual, so this makes me think the error is with the configuration and not with the physical cabling. Thank you for your advice, I appreciate the input.
