This is the back of the EE Efector. If that is what you are using.

Found this with the search. Good luck my friend.

Found a cracked surge supressor on one of the brake lines in the box with the Hans connectors. The box you speak of is on the controller or the robot itself?
-
When you are megging are you going wire to wire or wire to receptacle? Or both.
-
I recently experienced a short in my EE conector. (RJ2 controller). It took out two small eproms on my PLC board. Thanks to RacerMike for pointing me to them. Replaced the eproms and the associated problems went away.
Just another place to check. -
what PLC are you using to send PNS?
-
Use the search function. These errors have been covered quite a lot. It all comes down to jumpers.
-
Welcome to the used fanuc nightmare.
-
Is there a short answer to what is a force control schedule? I do not find it in my manuals.
-
This post may offer some clarity.

DNET–084 STOP Board reset failed: Bd %d
Cause: The command to reset the specified board has failed.
Remedy: Refer to the next DNET alarm posted in the alarm log for specific alarm recovery information.Go to your I/O and check the details and see if you have more than one card on the same address.

Our holds are typically triggered from the PLC based on conditions we assign to the output. As BigFrank612 suggested I am am betting your answer is in the logic.

The total length of the program name cannot eight
characters. You can use words, upper case letters, and lower case
letters to form the program name. Give the program a unique name that
indicates the purpose of the program.
You cannot use the asterisk * symbol.
This is for RJ-2's, not sure if it holds true over all controllers. -
It may matter which robot controller you are working with.

I have been doing this collection for about 8 months. Grouping posts by subject and having an interactive table of contents. That way if I want to look at Kfloppy posts I ctrl/click on the table of contents heading and there it is. Not all post just the ones that are pertinent to my situation.
On the other hand the search function is a great help sometimes also. -
You move the robot to the desired point. You make your adjustments. You hold down the Shift key and the Touch Up button. You should receive a notification that the point has been touched up.
This is assuming you are not using Frames etc. -
Type RSR Or PNS into the search window. There are several good post already that cover this subject.
-
The big advantage that I see in the PNS is that it enables more programs to be selected than with the RSR. However I am far from an expert.

[quote author=droth On a newer robot, UOP-->DI/O mapping is probably unnecessary (I don't know. Never had the privilege to work with a 'new' robot).
[/quote]What!!!? They make these things new? No way.
