check system variable manuals. hint: open MADA and search for "sim"

No stepper, i 'm like to record a point of 6axis and external axis in easy way. In this way the program will be more light and at same time the focus will follow the movement and distance continuosly. May be motor of kr3???You can use UserTech to create own inline forms for manipulating state of some custom actuator.
Alternatively create external axis and then simulate it. This will take care of teaching and jogging E1.
Then write your own code that will use E1 value to position whatever actuator you have. -
my bad... did not see that
not practice i condone...

the only way user can test it is to connect it to a matching controller.

hmmm... smallest KUKA motor is still going to be much bigger than your camera... unless you don't care about that aspect.
i would consider using something much smaller, perhaps stepper motor and drive it with robot outputs -
lookup CWRITE
on KRC4 it allows writing data to a file. it is mentioned a lot in the forum with examples

yes but name "HOME" is just facade used in inline forms. such variable name does not exist. if you want to program with inline forms you can enter "HOME" as point name but if you are typing commands by hand, you must prefix it with "x".
just open single variable monitor and test it or - try to save program and see if it compiles.

Each task has own $ERR. this means standard robot will have 2 (one for SPS, one for robot program). robots with MultiSubmit will have 9 (one for robot, for for system SPS, seven for seven extended SPS)

SafeOp is full featured product but there are also smaller siblings - SafeSingleBrake and SafeRangeMonitoring...
-
which robotic safety standard makes exception based on someone's budget?

i totally agree with sentiment about keeping IT out of it...
but... update is not something i would skip specially with malware like wannaCry.
note that IT was not asking to do the update themselves -
check SafeOperation

I would suggest:
1. always collect backup image before doing any updates / changes (just in case),
2. get update from kuka website and install it (https://www.kuka.com/en-us/services/downloads). Windows security patch will have no effect on other products (KSS and tech options will not need update).
3. reboot...
4. if update was successful, collect new backup and get rid of old one (see step 1).direct link to Win7 patch is

there is quite a bit of code in SPS... if the SPS stops do not deselect it, login as expert and change $interpreter to zero to see what line of code it is in.
-
it is coming from outside:
SIGNAL $MOVE_ENABLE $IN[803] ;FAHRFREIGABE GESAMT
-
BCO is part of operating modes T1, T2 and AUT. Only EXT mode does not have BCO. To change mode use mode selector switch.
-
$MOVE_ENABLE is not true...

there can be many suspects such as KSS, KPP, KSP, smartPad cable etc. i would suggest collecting KRCDiag and sending it to KUKA.
