read READ FIRST
the most important manual is mentioned there and and it has chapter on collision detection -
best way is to make a backup before doing anything...
then you can get working project from robot and mearge it with your project (this allows you to pick and choose what you want from one or another) then save result as ANOTHER file. deploy and activate this "another" project, if anything goes wrong, activate previous working project (it is still on KRC4) and repeat till things are fine...
-
there are several options, for example:
1. replace CPU with one that has ProfiNet port
2. keep CPU but add another module that will provide ProfiNet port
3. Add ProfiBus interface to KRC4
4. etc. -
my artistic expression is not appreciated ?

well... no offense, but it is impossible to offer help like this.
you provided insufficient input and are not addressing concerns expressed so far... please read READ FIRST, address all comments and then we may have something to talk about...
for example:
your code is hard to read (not formatted) and incomplete - can't pick and choose lines you think are relevant...
you are mixing motion planners and that causes advance run stop.
you mention different values of $advance but you don't show the code.
you are using two splines with same coordinates and that too is a nono (Kuka College, Programming1).
etc. -

Do you have system variable manual for KSS 8.3 and 8.4?
Take a pencil, keep it vertical and roll it between your palms. That is "rotation".(note axis of rotation is fixed)
Keep pencil vertically on a table and then... let go and watch it fall. It can fall in any direction. This is "swivel".

1. you are using consecutive splines with same target coordinate
2. you are asking about interrupt, yet your code shows no interrupt declaration -
forum is a great place to get quick answer. it does not however replace formal training. you are in unfamiliar waters, asking ambiguous questions and failing to provide info that was asked. in this case the best recommendation is to hire someone with needed expertise.

what have you done so far?

if the indicators are sufficiently low current and not polarized, they may be able to detect single channel fault...

sorry to hijack the topic but i need to ask where is this going and what is supposed outcome?
i just don't see a point in debate like this... it will not change anything about how KRL works or what it can or cannot do.
i would think, a computer scientist should not whine about computing platform. if anything should be able to see the capabilities and work around any perceived or real limitation.
imagine if chemists were to complain how atoms work, or physicists whining about black holes...you call yourself programmer? try working with relays or pneumatic valves.
KRL is a very simple but proven language. it was designed for specific purpose and it was in use for many years for applications in every type of industry.
does KRL have limitations? you bet... any platform has. i have never allowed programming language to be a constraints. when i needed to automate things in AutoCad, i learned LIST and DIESEL.
I used KRL for many things and what is asked here is rather straight forward to do for anyone who passed Programming2.
For example I made my own math libraries for just about anything - from match primitives such as log, exp, etc to solving system of equations etc. but who am i to judge, i am just a poor hardware guys (electronics engineer), not a software guy who knows how to make best use of a programming language... -
why would you want to change those?
and if you do, you should look at EDS file of that device, not WorkVisual.good luck with that...
-
that cannot (should not) work.
industrial LED indicators have built in current limiting circuitry which at the very least is a series resistor but may be more than that.if one was to entertain idea of connecting such indicators to a 24V circuit (safety or not), one side need to be connected to positive, other side to negative terminal. connecting both leads to positive will not complete circuit.
btw, i am REALLY not fan on seeing some gimmics like this on a safety circuit. safety circuit must be clean and only contain safety rated components. if one wants to monitor status of the safety signal, use regular output and appropriate monitoring variable.

why would you want to overwrite system files with those of completely different KSS?
you should only import user settings like tools, bases loads and user programs. -
contact Kuka and send them serial number of your KRC2. they should be able to provide you with schematics.
any later additions (I/O etc.) will not be shown. -
i cannot provide details in this case. what can you see? did you delete anything (format, repartition etc.)?
