Got it up and running.
Thanks
It was disabled.
As far as I can tell it is wired correctly. We bought the robot used from one of our customers. They used it in a Motoman Laser cell that had 2 external axis. We disabled them when we first got it but now we are trying to re-enable one of them to rotate a fixture. I had to get new motor cables from motoman. There was a external J-box somewhere on the original cell that had the power and encoder ran into and then out with a short power and encoder cable. Motoman sent me the prints for the cables and we wired them according to that, so all I can say it is wired correctly. I'm hoping to get a chance to go and look at another laser cell that the same customer has and verify that the wiring is correct. I have changed everything thing else that the alarm code told me to change. So I would assume it's wiring but don't know what to change.
Thanks
We removed the motor from the gear box and tried it and same thing. I will double check the cabling and swap out the amp and what ever else I can that the error might be related to. Just wanted to make sure that it wasn't something simple that I might have did incorrectly.
Thanks
I'm trying to re-enable a external axis on a XRC controller. I have everything hooked up. When I power up the robot controller I don't get any alarms or errors. Once I switch the external axis and try to jog it I get alarm 1314. Also I noticed on the tech pendant that when I push the external axis the light blinks rather than stay lite? Is that correct or a warning that something isn't correct? We tried to switch the amp and the motor. On thing we don't know if we have the settings correctly in the setup. We are planning on using the servo to rotate a fixture in a weld cell. So do I need to choose TURN-1 or do I need to select something else? Any info would be help.
Thanks
I think that adding a short timer above the pstart helped. It hasn't shown up again since I added the timer. Must have been happening to fast for it to catch?
Thanks
In my master program I call side A or side B because its on a indexer, inside the side A or B program is where I'm using the Pstart commands and there are some Pstart ****if IN#*=on commands. Is that not the correct way to do them? We are doing that because we are doing 2 different parts off one fixture with some tooling change out. Also using them on lead in mode at the beginning of the day and a run out mode at the end of the day. I don't understand why it happens so Irregularly though? Maybe after 5-10 cycle's all of the sudden it happens. To clear it I home R1 and start the master again and it's fine.
I've got a cell that has 2 mrc SK6 robots in it. Sometimes while running R2 does not start the program when it's told to. R1 runs fine never misses. No errors or alarms nothing holding from the PLC. I'm using Pstarts to run the required programs with Pwaits after the pstarts. Not sure where to look? Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
I have the code but I can't remember how to get there. We did it once a number of years back. Our controller scrambled it's self and we are trying to get it back up. We determined that the board was bad. So we swapped it from a parts controller we have and now are trying drop groups and change welding type.
Thanks
Looking for answers on how to change the type of welding my robot is setup for. It's setup for laser welding currently and I want arc welding. Also how do I delete unwanted axis? It currently is looking for a UP6 thats not there no more?
Thanks
Does anybody have a manual that explains how to use the pstart command for a MRC dual robot controller? I keep getting the alarm 5830 when we try to run the cell.
Thanks
