Go to the Visual Componets webpage and visit their Academy, there you have many tutorials which are very handy in how to do pyhton scripts for your components in simulations.

Check the system variable $PRO_STATE0

i dont have a this file and I dont have a CD with software. Maybe do you have a software or this file?
Did you check on D partition of the hard drive for the KSS backup? Usually there is a backup of the KSS software on the D:\ and you can find the file there.

thank you, Everything tool is really fast =) , my officelite is with KSS 8.5 i've tried to find the router tool, but i think it is from older versoin of OL , in 8.5 there is no track of it
KUKA.router program was part of the KUKA.Ethernet KRL option on KRC2ed05(if you used for example motherboard's ethernet port, you needed the KUKA.router to setup connection to external device), on the KRC4 KUKA.Ethernet KRL packages it wasn't present anymore with that package...

Hi
Where to find Configmon.ini in new WorkVisual ? I know how to edit configmon.ini in SmartPad but it would be great to do it in WorkVisual .. I use KRC4 and WOV.6.0.20 now.
I have a feeling that it was possible to find it somewhere with earlier WoV version.
I can only find it in the archive C/User/ConfigMon.ini...

devilrouse - perfect - this is the genius KUKA way of doing it. why have a timeout implementet in wait when you can use 10 lines of high sophisticated code instead
sorry my sarcasm. and many thanks to you for the topic and the 2 solutions. I ran into the same question right now and I will choose the suggestion from devilrouse for my implementation.
Check this thread and TIMER_LIMIT() function
PostRE: How to write a wait function
Why is that?
DEF WaitForBool(sig:out)
DECL BOOL sig
WAIT FOR sig OR TIMER_LIMIT(10.0)
IF sig THEN
; It was completed due signal
ELSE
; it was completed due timer

After resolving communication error DSE-RDW,and looking at picture the machine data saved on RDW is "KR150_2_ZF FLOOR ZH01" you should choose this machine data instead of "KR150_2_TJ FLOOR ZH01" and test the robot by jogging it in cartesian system and check software limit switches by jogging each robot axis to software limit switches.

Thanks for the video, the RED Led on RDW2 after booting should not flash, should be always on. Robot still cannot read data from RDW2, that is why you have the robot runtime counter error and transmisson DSE-RDW error. When you installed the new KSS what did you choose for machine data when asked?
Also if you run DSE-RDW diagnostic again and run check RDW communications you will have error state. I also send you picture from message manual about DSE-RDW error. I would also check connectors for loose/bent pins on both sides of the data cable. Sometimes they get out of place.
To exchange machine data for you robot, go to D partition on your controller D:\INTERNAT\MADA\KRC1\KR150_2_TJ\FLOOR\R1\ and copy files over to R1\ MADA.
Cancel the submit interpreter before.

If you look at picture and if you compare your video to the description of the RED led(it's flashing), you have error.... Did you check DSE card on top of MFC1 for GREEN led?
-
I checked the cable with a meter and everything seems ok. I think that the transmission between DSE-RDW is wrongly configured
You have KRC1 robot. Is there only one LED on RDW(RDW-1 card had only green LED for power supply, RDW-2 had to LED lights one green for DSE and one RED for DSE boot(is this RED led always on or does it blinking?). Did you check DSE card on the MFC1? There is also green LED light, which should be blinking.
But looking now at the pictures and message window you don't have any more message DSE-RDW transmission error? Take a picture of all messages that are still present after pressing Ackn. All
-
Hello, from message window picture i would try first to solve the "Transmission error 1. DSE-RDW", this error means that DSE card inside controller PC cannot communicate with RDW card inside the black box in the base of the robot(check data cable, cable connectors, damaged or bent pins, power supply).

Did you upgrade the Ram in the PC? I believe that the star* specifies a minimum of 3GB of Ram required for the MCC-10
Aaa thank you. I didn't try that. I was sure that problem for BSOD screens was different motherboard used in the PC-s. And also email from KUKA didn't mentioned that just more rams were needed for the upgrade. So I just exchanged with MCC-30 and it started from the first time with KSS 8.5.6, but probably the image with KSS 8.5.6 was made on MCC-30.
-
But here is like noted that i could use MCC-10 PC from KSS8.2(I cannot read what is written under star*) for KSS 8.5. In my case I got BSOD when trying to run image with KSS 8.5.6 on MCC-10 while image with KSS 8.3.14 did run, but any later version of KSS 8.3 again with BSOD screen.
MCC-10 PC with KSS 8.2 didn't even had graphics port on motherboard.
And i also got email from KUKA that i have to use MCC-30 in order to run KSS 8.5.6.
-
Hello, for sure you will have to change the PC. I did upgrade from 8.2 to 8.5 and i needed new PC, or you will get BSOD. π
-
You could define CONST variable already from KRC1 era, but i think i've used it maybe once, for example PI number. π
-
I do not know where and as you puncture you can tell me how to give you, I am relatively new .., thank you,
What kind of english language is this? It's not british nor the american. π
-
To me it looks like you have multiple points with identical X,Y,Z and changing A,B,C values in the same spot with identical X,Y,Z values...
Do you generate path with program? Or did you make points by hand?
-
DannyDJ Thanks for the reply
yes we tried that but no response(please find attachment)
From video it looks like keyboard doesn't listen... did you used PS/2 or USB keyboard... if it's usb i think USB ports have to be activated in the BIOS on SUPER 370SBA because usually this versions of KRC2 had WIN95 installed(WIN95 didn't support USB).
And pressing F1 also doesn't work? It should get you into BIOS.
-
Did you tried as suggested on the screen on the first picture "press F2 to load defaults and continue"(you need keyboard plugged in KPC) π?
