I found this in some old notes of mine.Add a new adapter as in a new ethernet card?

Thanks Eusty.

I have managed to speed control the spindle via KRC1 KCP (same for KRC2) manually by inputting the value 0~10.
2 yeas ago the speed control was done by pressing the gripper + or - tabs for speed control without having to input the numbers. Right now I can switch on a relay by pressing the gripper activate tab circle in red, this will switch on the spindle and start to turn, but the + and - does not seemed to be working.... -

Where can I find this?Something like this: open attachment

OK, finally getting somewhere, the spindle is spinning.
DPL parameter C002!! arrggg. -
Found some answers:
In KCP1, press Alt + Tab (keypad number 6, remember to turn off NUM.)or press CRtl + ESC to call out start menu ---> control Panel--->Network--->TCP/IP--->properties
Is this the virtual Connection that should not be messed about with?
I have set an IP for my win 7 laptop, 192.168.1.20, I want to set 192.168.1.21 to C1's TCP/IP, please need guidance.

Eh? Ethernet cables can't cause a short circuit.Connecting the MFC ethernet port to a laptop PC ethernet port via a Xover cable should work perfectly, I've done it many many times.
I have plugged the Cross-over ethernet cable to KRC1's MFC's ethernet port and my laptop win7.
Next step is to goto: Control Panel--->Network and Internet--->Network and Sharing Center--->Local Area Connection Status--->Property--->Inetrnet Protocal Version 4(TCP/IPV4)--->click "Use the following IP address"---> enter 192.168.1.20, press "tab" key automatically shows the Subnet Mask which is 255.255.255.0.For KRC1 do I have to exit KSS to set hthis?
thanks

Thanks for the explanations.
This is slight off topic, I saw a KRC2:

but the teach pendant is a KCP1, is this an upgrade? -
Stuck at VFD setups, No support from HSD
Changing VFD brands to Mitsubishi A-720 or Delta. -
When choosing User group to Expert it takes sometime to load completely.
I want to optimize the PC hardware to its max. I can use SSD Hard drive for C1?
About mastering, same as usual A1 and A2:I also have 2 spare C1 controllers, 1 has 2 cabinet doors and the other one is just an cabinet without the PM6-600. I would like to use the C1 + servogun, and there are some branches of cable left on top of the cabinet which belongs to the controller, but not sure where should these cable be plugged to?
About t top cabinet, the module inside is it a 2 axes drive or 1? -
To The Leg:
Is it RDW or RDC? what's the difference? To Panic Mode:
I'm going to switch KRC1 now, will see if Mastering is needed.
Can this RDC board be manufactured again if there's a free schematic of the board or reverse engineer it? -
-
To skyfire,
I'll try the X-over from MFC to PC.To Panic Mode,
"RDC need to be replaced because it failed to save mastering data (number of writes exceeded for flash). Today any flash device will easily handle 100000 writes or more but 15-20 years ago write limit was substantially lower (orders of magnitude lower)."
Sound like there's an expire date applied to RDC card. -
Lost Mastering A1, A2 weren solved. Batteries have been replaced.
Not sure If I should give it try again on Ethernet connections? If I use a X-over ethernet cable plug to MFC ethernet port and PC ethernet port, this should establish a connection between them. Not sure what went wrong with the connection from last year? X-over ethernet cable to the hub switch causing short circuit?
