Hi guys!
Im quite new to Yaskawa robots,
Working with DX200
I created a job with R1+S2:S2 (robot + station 2 in sync) and defined 3 reference points that are displayed like so: REFP1 ST2 , REFP2 ST2, REFP3 ST2.
The question is where are the coordinates of these points that I defined "recorded" to? somewhere in $PX......
I know that if I create a job using only R1 (only robot motion) the reference points are displayed without the "ST2" termination and are "recorded" to $PX0011, $PX0012 and $PX0013

thanx for the feedback robodoc, unfortunately after looking at all the jobs i had i found 1touch job! i talked to a motoman technition and he told me to copy that program and change things around so i can create a new touch job... what about when i need the robot to do a touch sense move with a different frame..

hi guys,
working with dx200 controller, robot for welding purpose, with detection harware/software
I'm used to working with fanuc robots and a example of a detection in 2D whould be:search start [1] PR[1]
J P[1] 100% FINE search [-Y]
J P[2] 100% FINE search [-Z]
search endas easy as that the final result will give me the "joint" position wich will be stored in PR[1]
On the other hand there telling me that in motoman robots it doesnt work that way, it isnt so simple there telling me that I have to create a "sub" program (job) called "detection - y - z" for example with a series of instructions then call that program from within the program i'm working with... WTF!? this is not at all practical, can anybody please send me an example of how that detection program might look like -
Regaleira1) You wont here that noise after few hundred hours programming it.
One glass of Porto and listening fado will stop the beep
that was very helpful... -
thanx for the info tyle, its a shame that the beep cant be silenced altogether but that will have to do

I have tried WINTPE but It wont load the program, so no chance on editing (correcting) the program that way what I need is some sort of software that converts the program into readable text then after correcting the problem lets me save and convert back to .tp
Yes, there is a small program named Printtp that permit the print of a TP program to an .LS file (text readable)
I tried opening Printtp (that comes with winolpc software) but after executing it it opens up command prompt then quickly closes
dont know if it will enable me to edit and save the .tp or will just let me visualize in text... -
I tried to send you an email but I get a delivery failure.
Maybe another email adress?
try sending it in all small letters daniel.t.caetano@gmail.com -
Do you have an email adress?

hi guys!, tried transfering a program from my old rj2 via rs... cable (no usb port back then). after backing up to pc I then eleminated it from the pendant to have more memory for other programing, after some time i tried to recupe the program from the pc but i'm getting an error on the pendant, something must have went wrong with the transfer, the program must be corrupt, now the pendant won't exept it. I was wondering if i chould open up the program on the pc in text format and try to correct what's wrong so it can be acceptable to be loaded back on to the pendant, for that I whould need some kind of tp editor so i can "visualize" it on pc because opening it with notebook just gives me funny looking careteres... any help? the program was quite long so it whoud be a shame if i had to redo it all over

is their any other programs besides olp3 that I can use to save programs from my irb 2000 to PC that dont need dongles? I tryed finding on the internet, the best I found was sport s3 but after I downloaded the demo version and installed It, It gives me the "No hardwearlock......" so it also needs a dongle....
