Hi everybody,
i want to use System Variables in my TP-Programms like $MNUFRAME....
How can i write them in a TP-program?
I tried it with [INST] -> [7: Miscellaneous] -> [7: Parameter name]. But then i can only choose 8 different vars:
-DEFPULSE
-WAITTMOUT
-RCVTMOUT
-SHELL_WRK.$CUR_STYLE
-SHELL_WRK.$CUR_OPTA
-SHELL_WRK.$CUR_OPTB
-SHELL_WRK.$CUR_OPTC
-SHELL_WRK.$CUR_DECSN
Am i right with [INST] -> [7: Miscellaneous] -> [7: Parameter name]?
Or do I need a special option for the robot?
Thank you.
Thanks hoitzing.
We tried it yesterday like this, but it didn't work.
Today the same procedure, and it works.
Hi everybody,
we set the port assignments now with the KAREL build-in-function SET_PORT_ASG().
Basically it works, but we get differences between the automatic and the manual version.
Example for the DOUTs -Config:
When we do it manually, the Config table looks like this:
1 DO[1-3] 0 0 0
2 DO[4-6] 36 3 1
3 DO[7-9] 0 0 0
The ports are grouped and the table is very short.
When we do it with the SET_PORT_ASG(), it looks like this:
1 DO[1-3] 0 0 0
2 DO[4-4] 36 3 1
3 DO[5-5] 36 3 2
4 DO[6-6] 36 3 3
5 DO[7-9] 0 0 0
So every port has a single line in the config table.
Is there an option, that we get a short table with the SET_PORT_ASG() too?
And is the single assignment perhaps critical for the performance of the control?
Thanks to all.
We decided to use KAREL for the most things. Everything else we do manually.
Thanks for your help.
We tried it with an AOA backup without the sysmast.sv but afterwards, both robots had the same serial number.
Can Sombedoy tell us which file with have to exclude so that the serial number doesn't change?
We use DCS. Which file we can transfer to another robot to speed up the initial setup for the dcs menu?
Hello,
we have a test robot in our office. In future, we want to build this robot cell in the same configuration multiple times.
How can i speed up the initial setup of the robots? We don't want to do that manually, so we tried to use the AoA-Backups (without SYSMAST.SV) but afterwards both robots had the same serial number (the number of the robot we backuped).
We talked to Fanuc and they told us, that we can't use backups for the initial setup of another robot. Instead we should use a PC program called "Initial Setup Function" in combination with the robot software ". But i can't find any informations about this tools.
So my questions:
- Has somebody informations about this tools?
- Which other possibilities i have for the initial setup?
- Are we doing something wrong with loading backups? Does it normally works with reference backups?
Thanks for your help
