They're easy to replace, just pull the whole box out. I always hold the plate down while I take off each screw. Seen a lot of them broke by taking out one screw at a time.

Could be multiple things. But if you replaced the motor a few times, the brake should be ok. Does it only fault when in teach, or when at a pounce position in auto? If so, maybe try turning off the break. What does the grease look like, might be a bad gearbox. I'm just guessing, but that is where I'd start. Also, you could check the axis wear/life percentage. Maybe the feedback for an OVC alarm.

That last link is to another thread about the first fault ......373. It may have caused the other fault, or they may both because of one issue. Good luck.

Maybe also look at line 15 were it looks like an operator emergency stop. Also just guessing.

Operator Safety Input #31 would be my guess, but just a guess.

Could possibly combine them using multiple GI GO, to one register. Anytime I have a big number, if I can do some math I'll just divide the GI by 100 or something.

Well, if no one else answers, I'll check back in a few hours when I get to work. But in theory, you should have safety IO mapped to the PLC. If you can find those, it shouldn't be to hard to setup the robot if you have something like ethernet for the two of them to talk. I could only find B cabinet prints, but I'm still at home. I'm invested now.

Do you have this screen in the teach pendant? I don't know anything about Mitsubishi controllers.

Hope one of those helps.

Man I feel stupid everytime I answer a question with another question.
By Safety PLC do you mean something like an AB GaurdLogix controller? If so is it set up with ethernet or some other communication? If that's the case, I wouldn't think you would have to rewire anything, just set up the Safe Outputs in the DCS Safe IO Connect screen. The CRC website has all the Electrical prints if you have access.

I've been learning Icelandic over the past few years. The other day I heard a very familiar word..... kúka..... which is pronounced the same way as in English. The second letter may be accented, but if you're in Iceland and talk about KÚKAs, no one will picture robots.
