YRC1000 Yaskawa - KEMPPI A7 Communication problem

    Hello everyone. We are trying to solve this problem for 1 year and no success. The problem is on the first start procedure.

    First turning ON welding machine KEMPPI A7 wait 1min. Then turn on YRC1000.

    But when program comes to the part where it starting to weld it shows this ERRO1

    Then we turn OFF YRC1000 again only (KEMPPI stays ON)

    After that KEMPPI shows this ERROR2 click OK and after that we can weld normally.

    But problem is after that second turning YRC1000 OFF and then ON , TOUCH SENSING is not working.

    So if anyone had similar problem please help.

    Hello, i might be able to help with the Kemppi error and mabey it will fix the robot error too. There is a watchdog setting on the kemppi that can be disable/ enable. This error I've seen normally relates to this watchdog from robot, and a time limit is set in the kemppi menu up to 5s, if the robot does not send the watchdog bit then this error will occur. I have also seen this error occur with it disabled so mabey best to enable and setup watchdog signal on robot and max wait time on kemppi. it is found in kemppi menu under robot setting.

    with the UWI you should be able to set your time limit for the missing arc start confirm in your arc start file. I get that alarm frequently because my wire burns short after a weld and it will time out before it touches the work piece. you should be able to reset it from the tp screen with out shutting down your machine. also why do you shut down the controller and the welder separately? I would bet that you get the second error because you shut them down separately. I only shut down the main everyday so both the controller and welder can boot up at the same time
