I have a couple questions on Auto external and Starting Cell.
KRC 5 Micro v8.7.4
TIA Portal v15
First question, Under what robot stop circumstances do I have to Start Cell.src manually and run a BCO.
1.1. Is there any way to Not have to do that?
Background.
We currently have a system that we are commissioning and are now trying to get Auto Ext. up and running. we were able to get to the point of Drives enabled in Aut_ext, however we could not get cell.src to select and to start .. After we selected cell in manual and ran BCO, and then switched to Aut_Ext, we could successfully continue. I thought (perhaps incorrectly) that once external start was issued, sps would select Cell and start.
Question 2,
Can another program other than cell be started instead and how to do that: special handshaking or deviations from the Signal chart in Si manual ?
Question 3.
How would I complete the robot BCO in CELL(or other ) program without having to send the robot to home position? Can I just PTP to to $POS_ACT and run my recovery routine form there?
