I have two Kawasaki robots connected in ET200 by Profinet. The problem is: When i reboot, restart or when the energy down for some reason, the robot loses the profinet name. So i have to connect with clp and assgn the name again. The config in robot TP is OK. Its happening with two robots. Any ideias? Never turn off the robots is not a option...

Welcome to the forum...........
1. Without Controller or PLC configuration details, just what kind of ideas are you asking for?
Please post information of:
- What is master, what is slave, router/switch connection and network topology.
- Hardware you are using in the Robot Controller.
- Robot Profinet Configuration including name, IP and Port and Signal allocation.
- PLC Profinet Configuration including name, IP, SLOT and IO allocation.
2. What happens if you power off the PLC and Controller, disconnect the ethernet cable from the Controller and power the PLC and Controller back up and after power up connect the ethernet cable back in?
When i reboot, restart or when the energy down for some reason, the robot loses the profinet name.
How do you know this?
So i have to connect with clp and assgn the name again.
That is what you are doing to correct it, doesn't mean that is the problem.

I have meet this issue one. It was caused by profinet name.
Don't use any scecial signs in name like undescore (_) etc. just letters and numbers.
In my case robot has held profinet name with an underscore once stet, but after reboot it was loosing it just like at your case.
