Hi all,
I have a question regarding a possible drop in performance when 2 robots are moving a part together (master-slave link).
I have a simple linear path on which the master robot reaches 3m/s when it is moved alone.
I program the slave robot to follow Master's TCP using the Geolink function. The robots are symetrical, so the slave uses the same axis ranges, and should be able to reach the same speed as the master.
It is not the case, so here is my question : do you know if the Geolink function decreases the robots capabilities ?
I suppose the additionnal communication & calculation between the 2 controllers causes a slower motion.
There is no mention of such performance drop in the documentation.
Thank you for your attention !
