I am using menu utility to prompt an operator for input. There are some issues I'm working around now which I would like to include in a KAREL program to minimize the effort it takes to configure a new robot.
Issue 1) Menu creation - as of now, I manually create a menu on a TP, then download the MENUxxx.VR file, and from the main Karel program, I copy it onto a new robot. Maintaining the menu is difficult this way, since *.VR files are unreadable. Is there a way to create a new menu using Karel?
Issue 2) Prompting menu - in order to prompt for a menu, you can run a .LS/.TP program with a call to the required menu (i.e. Prompt Box Msg('MenuTitle')), which is called from the Karel program using CALL_PROG. Instead I would like to minimize the number of files that need to be used, and keep the menu prompt call inside the Karel program only. Is there a way to call/prompt a menu utility from Karel?
