I must be missing something here. I need to use an integer, or more explicitly, I have a variable that is a NUM from which I need to drop its decimal value. i.e., it HAS to be an integer.
I tried the DIV command. X := X DIV 1; and this errors out, stating that the variable must be an integer. In fact, in the RAPID help file, it says that the operands in the DIV operation must be integers. So how do I do this? I would declare it as an integer and go about my business, but INTEGER does not exist as a variable type and I can't get it to drop the decimal from this NUM.
I'm sure this is a simple one, but I looked through the forums and couldn't get myself unstuck. Any help is appreciated.
