When using a sine weave on a welding robot, is it possible to have the weave going back and forth instead of left to right?
I've read a little about changing the azimuth, but i'm not really sure how to do that.
Thank You

in the instruction screen curser down to weave sine instruction, then press F4 choice to select a new weave pattern from the sub menu, then enter. There are options to choose from there. Once selected this weave will be called when weave start is used after arc start.
Prior to the weld start, insert a line and write this...
$WVSCHEXT[##].$AZIMUTH=90
After the weld, insert a line and write this...
$WVSCHEXT[##].$AZIMUTH=0
The "##" will be your weave schedule that you want to change. Changing it to 90 will make the weave run parallel with the weld. Just don't forget to change it back once the weave end has been executed. Use this way when you want to use the same schedule on multiple welds and to be able to temporarily change the azimuth.
