I am working on a UR10 with Cognex In-Sight-8405 camera for a vision guided pick and place tasks.
There are 2 UR program to do the tasks. Things work fine seperately.
1. Connect to camera and send command to camera to load a specific job file.
2. Perform vision guided pick/place processes with Cognex In-Sight URCap
In order to automate the tasks, I put the programs into one single program.
The workflow of the UR program as below:
1. Connect to camera using TCP socket.
2. Send command to camera to load the corresponding job file for picking.
3. Perform the vision guided picking process using Cognex In-Sight URCap.
4. Send command to camera to load the corresponding job file for placing.
5. Perform the vision guided placing process using Cognex In-Sight URCap.
However, if the job file was loaded with the UR programming running (work in single UR program), the Cognex In-Sight URCap cannot receive response from camera.
Anyone who has any experience with UR robots and Cognex In-Sight URCap for vision guidance?
Any advice would be appreciated.
