Got a bunch (5pcs.) of surplus UR-10 "shoulders" which I want to bring back to life without having a controller. As they are just powered by 48Volts and an internal RS485bus - I hope anybody can give me some hints on the internal data protocoll - so that I could use them for own projets or proof of concepts. Maybe some researcher already reengineered that or hopefully some service information covering that topic is around somewhere.
Having a serios real world application in mind - I've already contacted UR here in germany - they thought it to by "funny" that somebody would ask for the price of their single motor units (shoulders) and control data information for other purposes. So no support from them. Would had been a nice out of the box solution.
If everthing goes wrong, I will connect some old style servo and encoder connectors and use them as additional axes for my cnc/plasma table...
