Hi!
I am using RoboGuide and I am setting up a new version of a cell that we already have in production. I want to re-use the programs from the older cell and do small necessary changes instead of re-programming the whole thing.
In the old cell we have 2 Groups, GP1 for the robot and GP2 for an external axis (7th axis).
In the new cell we are using 3 Groups. GP1 and GP2 is for the same axes as in the old cell and GP3 is another external axis (8th axis). The 8th axis will be working more or less like a rotating spindle and will replace the DC motor we are using in the old cell.
I have set up the cell in RoboGuide with the extra external axis and I have loaded the old programs and registers into the new RoboGuide cell. When I start the first program with motion in it I get 2 alarms. INTP-251 Invalid utool number and INTP-253 Tool fram number mismatch.
Do I need to change the Group mask in the Program Detail menu? Because if so, I cannot access it for some reason. The Group Mask setup is [1,1,*,*,*,*,*,*]. Maybe it must be [1,1,1,*,*,*,*,*] ?
I have Another program with the same Group mask setup but with only logic instructions in it and that program runs without problem.
I found an old thread in this forum where someone had a problem using a welding robot with a positioner with 2 external axes on it and the suggestion there was to add UFRAME_NUM and UTOOL_NUM instructions with GP1,2,3 declaration.
I did that but without any luck.

Do anyone have any suggestion what could be wrong or what I should do/try?
