I am going to be doing an install at a plant where they are replacing an old ABB robot (I4) and installing a brand new IRC5. The robot will do the exact same thing just they were having some axis on the old robot start to go and freaked out. I have not upgraded a robot before but know I will have to make some changes to the verbiage within the EIO file, etc. However, my main question is what about payloads and tool center points? I am assuming I will have to re-run the payload due to it being a different robot but do I have to re-setup the tool center points as well?
