Going to call Fanuc Monday morning but I thought I'd try here to get an idea. In a nutshell I have a new robot with IIC, ordered incorrectly as it should have BIC (Space Function). It's an init start load so I'll probably need a reburn of the load os, however until then I need to run the robot for testing. It is in a multi robot cell but it only loads/unloads from the opposite side of a table of a secondary robot. (That robot has BIC). Has anyone tried or does anyone know if you can setup a critical zone/fixture in IIC with only a single robot? I've been trying in RG but have no luck. Any thoughts?

I had a project last year that had IIC and i used it to interface a conveyor pick, so yeah im pretty sure you can use it as a simple space check without interfacing to another robot. As i recall there are like 3 different setup you have to go through one of which is the declaration of other robots. Just dont set up any other robots in the list but i think you still have to add your 1 robot. If you cant get it to work, i can let u in on a secret way to get BIC without a reburn
