I doubt the robot is the problem sounds like a program problem.

It could also be the operator not loading parts correctly, or poor fixturing. Clamps that are left open can also cause much damage. The robot only does what you program it to do.

Dig down, figure out what's actually causing your problem, and then find the right person to make it work. Don't try to just throw a ton of money at something.

In the 17 years I have been programming these machines, I have never seen one break itself by not doing what it was instructed to do.
You are right about digging down to the root of the problem in order to correct one. Most times the easy solution is not the right one.
